Jacob Dickison '19 Recruiting Profile

Hi, 

My name is Jacob Dickison. I have been rowing for almost three years now (two years on varsity) and I am looking for a potential school to row for. I am in my Junior year at Pentcket Regional High School in West Newbury, MA. I started off rowing at Greater Lawrence Rowing Club in Lawrence, MA, but then decided a year and a half after I first started that I wanted to row at Essex Rowing Club in Methuen, MA. I rowed varsity at Essex last spring, summer, and fall. My previous 2k from last year as a sophomore was 6:55.9. This spring season, I will be rowing as my own sponsor (not attending a club) and I will be focusing on rowing in the single to improve not only my physical and technical ability's, but to also improve my mental strength. I am going to be coached by my father and uncle this spring of 2018, both who have decades of experience with sculling and sweeping.
