Hello! I am Andrew Cui, a rising sophomore at Weston High School. I started rowing the fall of my freshman year and continued doing through the winter and spring seasons. During this time, I realized that I had a passion for the sport and was also quite good at it in terms of erg times. My passion for the sport drives my work ethic, as I often will train at home during off-days, off-seasons, and sometimes after practice if I have the time. At the end of my freshman spring season, I ended up receiving a coaches award, with my effort and dedication being cited as the main reasons.
I am interested in rowing in college and want to see how much I can better myself and grow alongside my team. These two aspects of the sport are what I enjoy most and are what drives me to keep putting effort in every day, week and season, whether it be practice on the water, on the erg or at home.
