I started crew in high school and it has been a huge part of my life so far. Being on the water and watching the sun set during a late October row, spending half an hour at the beach after a test with friends, and seeing my split going down during a sprint never fails to keep a smile on my face. Staying disciplined in school and at home have been influenced by crew because I want to stay fit and get a new personal best on my next 5/2k. I stayed and will continue to stay committed to this sport because of how much it has improved both my physical and mental wellness.
