I row for Chaminade High School on the Long Island Sound. I train almost everyday to not only benefit myself, but to benefit the team as well. I want my crew to arrive at the finish the fastest we can. The amount of motivation I give and receive on the team is why I love the sport. Rowing has also allowed me to understand that hard work and concentration pays off. Additionally, I find that it has allowed for me to understand time management (balancing athletics and academics). I want to attend a University that is both highly competitive and offers a great education.
