I wish to continue my rowing career into college because I simply just love to row. Joining Crew at my school was one of the best decisions I have ever made as it has led me to one of my greatest passions and loves in life. Although I may not be the fastest or the biggest, I pride myself in and can say with confidence that I am one of the hardest workers and most dedicated. This isn't just something I say myself as Former Head Coach Connor David Walters, now Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Syracuse University, described me at our 21-22 team banquet as determined, disciplined, and the hardest worker on the team, that I attended basically everything I could to improve myself. Another thing I pride myself in is being a leader on my team. Although I may not have been elected as a captain, my coaches and teammates still consider me to be a great leader and someone that the younger guys on the team look up to.
Outside of Crew, I am heavily involved in service at St. Ignatius. I am a student leader of the St. Benedict Joseph Labre Ministry to the homeless and other service opportunities as well. Therefore, I would also love to continue participating in service along with rowing in college.
