David Hill '14 Recruiting Profile

Time is running out...  Are you looking for a good outside defender to round out your roster?  I'm still available. 

I am David Hill, starting left defender for the Alabama #2 ranked Oak Mountain Eagles.  My team just competed in the Birmingham Metro tournament where I shutdown three of the top right forwards in the state; from the #1 and #3 ranked  6A teams and the #1 ranked 5A school. I haven't been beaten for a goal since last September in a club tournament.

I am an academic high achiever.  I scored 34 on my ACT and I have a 4.14 weighted GPA taking eight AP classes in the last two years. I have a full-tuition scholarship to Auburn University but I'd really like to play NCAA or NAIA soccer.  The school I attend must be strong academically and have a good track record getting their pre-med students into medical school.

My videos are current through the summer of 2013 at the ASYA Region III Championships. I only included clips from high school and club games against top competition except for a couple to demonstrate a skill.  I have more recent video from my last club season but the main difference you'll notice in my game is my coverage technique is stronger now than it was in the videos. I've always been one of the 2-3 fastest guys on every team I've played on.
