Personal Statement

COMMITTED TO THE UNIVERSITY OF MOBILE ... Thank you for taking a look at my profile. I'm looking to continue improving throughout the summer/fall/winter of 2023 and 2024. I've trained at keeper for a little less than three years and now, because of graduations and team needs, I'm training at striker. I feel like I’m athletic enough to play at either position and would be an asset to a college team. I want to be on a competitive team and have committed to several camps/combines to continue to get better over the next few months. I've listed where I'll be and look forward to talking with all coaches. I want to be somewhere that offers communications/broadcast degrees eventually as far academics go along with a program that is committed to helping me develop over the next few years. Again, thank you.

Jayce

  • Evaluated at Showcase Camp - Atlanta Boys on 05/06/2023 by Coach Oldroyd of University of Kentucky Skillset Overview Technical Abilities - 87 / 100 Hands - Great strong hands. Ball seems to stick on a save. High Balls - Great agility and vertical when defending high balls. Makes the goal smaller for attacking players. Tactical Abilities - 89 / 100 Vision - Field vision is very good. Constantly checking over shoulders on and off ball allows for quick decisions. Field Spacing - Highly active and involved in the attack. Gives good distance of support and passing angles for teammates. Physical Abilities - 89 / 100 Explosiveness - Great quickness and explosiveness, especially in the first step or two. Strength - Did a good job handling challenges and played well shoulder-to-shoulder. Mental Abilities - 89 / 100 Competitiveness - Showed a strong desire to win and seems to enjoy the competition. Keep working hard! Coachable - Responds well to coaching. Asked good questions and seemed to enjoy the learning process. Coach's Comments Jayce is a good goalkeeper and excelled throughout the camp today. He communicated with his defense throughout the game and the entirety of the camp. During training he excelled in handling shot stopping he would be an asset to Most college programs. Crosses - As we talked about in the Q&A, continue to take crosses is at the highest point as this is the vital in the college game Vision - When you receive the ball back to feet, look at the full bucks versus the forwards as they often have more time Agility - Do ladder work on a consistent basis to ensure your speed and agility stays top.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
