My goal is to prove myself; I'm human, just like everyone else. I've had good days, bad days, mess-ups, and accomplishments. But my determination never fades. I've wanted to play soccer since I was a kid. My inspiration was my dad's boss's mother, who signed me up for my first year of rec soccer when I was in 1st grade. I'll never forget that; it's what keeps me going toward my dream to this day, along with the happiness I get from the sport. Now, in 2026, I get to showcase my talents at the club level, and I hope to help make my high school team state champs with my style of defending. I might not be as strong, fast, or even better than my competitors, but I have the will to keep going, even after losing something. I once lost the ability to play soccer when I broke my ankle the year before playing recreationally, and I only wanted to do what I love. Now I can, and it’s all I’ll ever strive to do.
