Hello, my name is Alejandro Atienza and I am an exchange student from Spain currently in Alabama.
I have been playing soccer since I was 5 and I played in one of the best teams in my city in Spain, called CD EBRO.
This is my second year here in the US. Last year I played Varsity Soccer for Stanhope Elmore High School but the team was not really competitive. This year I am playing for Alabama FC 03 Boys Elite this fall and I will play for Trinity Presbyterian School in the spring.
As I said, I am from Spain so I haven’t had the chance to take the ACT yet. My grades have always been really good in Spain and here, last year I made all A’s. I don’t have any trouble to communicate in English with others and I always try to improve myself.
Talking about soccer, I would love to experience what college soccer is. I play either defensive or attacking midfielder. I am not really tall compared to others but I have very good stamina and I can be running the whole 90 minutes. I have a really good vision of the field, making really good passes, through balls, etc… I don’t like individualism, I believe that soccer is to make your teammates better and that is what I focus on. I’m a worker person, and I never get tired of learning. My main phrase is “Dedication and effort”
I think I would be a good option for your team because in Spain we see soccer on a different way, and I could apply it on the field every game, making me and my teammates better
