Alejandro Arriaga '25 Recruiting Profile

I played club soccer at Alabama Rush last year and currently play for FC Birmingham in the 1st Division of the UPSL. I am a center-back with great leadership qualities, as I am constantly organizing my team to deny dangerous opportunities. As a center back, I also have a good passing range into opponent space, able to break lines with hard passes. In college, I look to play in an attacking style program, and as a center back I would love to play long balls past the back line or connect underneath between lines. 

In school, I am a part of the student government body, the Math team, and I am Vice President of Mu Alpha Theta. I have always wanted to give back to my school and community and see my extracurricular activities as a great way to give back to my school and community. Being a part of the student government, I have been put in several different leadership positions, enacting tangible changes within our school community. Growing up, I have surrounded myself with other individuals who pride themselves in their efforts to give back to the community, a value that has been instilled in me as well.
