Jacob Nguyen '24 Recruiting Profile

For as long as I can remember soccer has been my greatest passion. Since the age of three I've discovered my talent as a competitive athlete. I have learned what it means to be part of a team and it has taught me invaluable life lessons.

My club is Calgary Foothills Soccer Club in Alberta, Canada. I play as a midfielder in the Calgary United Soccer Association  (CUSA) league, which is the highest standard league in our province. We are also currently playing exhibition games against top universities in our city. The staff are UEFA & CSA Certified Technical Directors with previous professional careers and long coaching experience.

I have traveled outside of Canada for soccer on many occasions, such as going to the USA and as far as the UK. These experiences have taught me so much about the game but have given me many memorable experiences.

At school I am an honour roll student and have been for all of my junior and high school years to date. My school work is a priority which I manage effectively with my training schedule.
