My name is Juan Carlos Pimentel Luna, and I’m 17 years old. I moved to Canada when I was 8, but my soccer journey began at the age of 4 with Monarcas Morelia (now Atlético Morelia) in Mexico. Soccer has always been my passion, and I’ve been training with Calgary Rangers FC 07 APDL, competing in one of the top youth leagues in Alberta and Canada. I also play for my high school team, where we recently won the city championship.
This past summer, my team and I won the APDL Cup and advanced to the national championship in Canada. What sets me apart is my vision and awareness on the field; I’m able to read the game well, making key decisions such as splitting defensive lines or maintaining possession under pressure. I take pride in my fitness, discipline, and versatility, all of which allow me to excel in high-pressure situations.
Off the field, I’m recognized for my leadership, loyalty, and dedication to my team, and I bring the same level of commitment to my academics as I do to soccer.
