Declan Kavgadoulis '22 Recruiting Profile

Soccer and specifically goalkeeping became a passion of mine at a fairly young age. After watching Iker Casillas in the 2010 World Cup at 7 years old I set out on my path to becoming the goalkeeper I currently am today.

I graduated highschool in 2020 and have taken the few year since then to play at the adult level in Edmonton Alberta where I now play for a team in the Premier Division. 

As a goalkeeper I excel at verbally organzing a defensive unit as well as playing out from the back as I am capable with the ball at my feet. I am also good at playing mid-long range passes from the ground or from my hands as well as controlling the pace of a game/team when neccessary. Due to being a shorter keeper at only 5'11" I have also alocated a significant amount of time to working collecting crosses and being a dominant force in the air.
