Spencer Pangilinan '25 Recruiting Profile

From a young age, I fell in love with soccer, a passion that has played a vital role in shaping who I am today. I began my journey as a winger, then transitioned to center back, and now I have found my place as a fullback—a position that perfectly blends both offensive and defensive play. As a fullback, I enjoy the challenge of defending one-on-one against wingers while also joining the attack to support my team’s scoring efforts. I am a hardworking and dedicated player, constantly seeking ways to improve both on and off the pitch.

Playing for St. Albert Impact has taught me valuable life lessons, including perseverance. Our team went from placing second at provincials, to third, and finally, this past indoor season, we achieved our goal and became champions. This journey has also instilled in me the importance of discipline, which is reflected in my academic achievements. I hold an 82% average and have earned honors in both my Grade 10 and Grade 11 years.

Looking ahead, I am determined to pursue a strong education while contributing to the success of a university or college soccer team. My goal is to help lead a team to a championship, bringing the same determination and hard work I’ve shown throughout my soccer career. I look forward to the opportunity to grow both as a student and as an athlete.
