Playing soccer at the collegiate level is the ultimate dream for me and has been since I first stepped on to the pitch at age six. I have a tremendous amount of passion for the sport, and I continually strive to learn, grow, and improve as a player and a student. There is no better feeling to me than the thrill of being a goalkeeper. I possess the mental toughness required for this position, and I pride myself on not only being able to direct my team on the field but lead by example as well. Whether I'm aggressively closing down a breakaway, parrying a powerful shot away from pressure, or coming out to intercept crosses, I will put myself in any position to stop the opponent's attack and benefit my team. My hard work and dedication is not only apparent on the field but off the field as well. Although soccer is at the forefront of my life, I am equally dedicated to succeeding academically. I work hard to keep a solid GPA and know that my education comes first. I plan to major in a business-related field such as marketing or entrepreneurial operations. I am confident that with my skillset as both a goalkeeper and a student that I would be an asset to your collegiate program. I am beyond grateful for the extraordinary opportunity to continue my career as a goalkeeper at the collegiate level. Thank you.
