Conlan McCoy '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Conlan McCoy and I have been playing for South Mountain Community College for 2 years. I have been playing Soccer since I was 5 years old. I am a 19 year old college Sophomore and I am left footed. Ever since I started playing Soccer it has been my goal to play professional Soccer.  I am very technical and my goal is always a great assist. I am a Team player and have been a Captain on most of my Teams. I am in the best shape on my team, I show up to every practice, usually early, and practice hard. I try to set a good example for the other players. I am always looking for the perfect pass to help the team out. I generally play center midfielder, and can play 6,8, or 10. I live and breathe Soccer and I think that makes me a great candidate over the guys who just 'play soccer'. I follow countless professional players, several European leagues and my favorite player to watch since I was a little kid is Marco Reus. I have read autobiographies of famous players like Pele, David Beckham and Tim Howard. I study tactics and am always trying to learn new tricks the professional players use in the game. Overall, I am usually playing, watching, or thinking about Soccer and I am always looking for ways to improve and learn new things about this beautiful game.
