Personal Statement
I'm Leo Parra and I am a player in Real Salt Lake Arizona 07 MLS Academy. In academics, I take school very serious and is working forward to getting a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. I work hard to keep the best grades I can have, a high GPA, and contribute to helping the community in every way I can. As a player, I am a technical player on the ground and wins 50/50 in the air, Defend well in the back, have good technique with heading the ball and finding gap to break the oppents line. I am a player who keeps the defense organized and is a leader in games. I like to set the tone in the team and in games. I take the role myself of being a leader and communicate with my teammates to keep them organized. I am a unique player because of his ability to defend well, using his vision, technical on the ball, wins everything in the air, great at finishing set pieces (5 goals in 10 games), and a communicative leader on the pitch. Thankfully I have had the opportunity to travel to Spain to train with Athletico Madrid for a week and showcase my skills to them as well and to be a step closer to becoming the best player I can be.
