Being on the field makes me feel challenged, excited and unstoppable. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve had this unexplained passion for soccer. At the beginning, I was a natural; but through lots of feedback from coaches, I worked hard and learned how to have a good work ethic. Which has molded me into the well disciplined student athlete that I am today. My long-term goal is to go to college, study Criminal Justice and become a criminal investigator. However, I do have aspirations of becoming a professional soccer player. I’ve experienced the positive and negative from playing on different teams. What I’ve taken from these experiences, is that leadership skills are some of the most important qualities to have. You can be playing within an orchestra, with hundreds of instruments, but it’s perfectly tuned because of the orchestrator. Meaning communication, discipline and determination are key to any successful team. Continuously improving within these skill sets, has helped me become a better teammate. To sum it all up, these attributes will help me continue to improve as a soccer player and advance my soccer career.
