Hello,
My name is Nicholas Penney, I am aspiring to attend college and to be a professional athlete. Growing up I watched my older brother play soccer, and that's when I fell in love with the sport. Seeing how technical and fun the game was for my brother, made me want to play and become better than him. Being exposed to high levels of play at a young age gave me an advantage of knowledge, plus playing with more experienced players and coaches gave me a unique understanding of the game compared to my peers. I've worked hard to get where I am at today, always putting in more effort and commitment than others because I want to go far with soccer. I pick up new techniques and instructions very quickly and easily. Not only do I work hard on the field, I also carry that work ethic into my academic and everyday life. I currently have a great GPA and plan to keep it that way. I am a very respectful and understanding student, as well as not afraid to ask for clarification or for help if needed. My father is also a 100% disabled veteran and is entitled to chapter 35 dependent education benefits for me to use for college.
