Cole Johnson '20 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches, this is Cole Johnson. I am a goalkeeper from the class of 2020 and would love to play at the most competitive level of college soccer, and hopefully higher than that someday. I have many attributes that make me a great candidate for many teams. I am said to be a very brave goalkeeper and will put myself into any position to prevent a goal. I am good with my feet and I am a great communicator. My shot stopping is my best attribute for sure. I am uplifting to my team, yet can bring some laughs when needed. I am a very serious and competitive player and bring that out of my teammates as well. While my grades were slacking my first couple years of high school (due to some personal family issues), I have gone into my junior year with a whole new attitude towards my education and have worked very hard to bring my grades up.  I finished my first semester Junior year, with a 2.9 and am working on taking some recovery classes to make up for my first 2 years of high school.  Others say I am a great leader and always have my player's backs which fosters good chemistry on the field.  It is important to me to be the best I can be always, while bringing others with me.
