Joshua Richards '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a hard worker on and off the soccer field. With my ultimate career goal in mind of becoming a Doctor of Medicine,  I have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout high school while also achieving high academically in Advanced Placement Courses.  I know the path to becoming a doctor is long and difficult, so I have set a high bar of work ethic for myself. 

I believe my work ethic translates onto the soccer field. I am a defender and enjoy my position as it affords a great leadership role on the field and a high level of responsibility.  I love to learn on and off the field and highly value the input from my teammates and feedback from coaches.

Soccer plays an integral role in my life and I have aspired to continue to the next level of collegiate soccer since I began playing competitively, and my aspiration is to continue my academic and athletic career in a competitive and rewarding college environment.
