Ved Puttagunta '26 Recruiting Profile

I am Ved Puttagunta from the class of 2026, and I have been playing soccer ever since I have was 7 years old.  I want to pursue soccer even after college, and would like to get a chance to also play college soccer. I have played at the top level of youth soccer in India as a goalkeeper, and would love to get a chance to play at the top level in college also. I am confident as well as resilient and I have the ability to adapt well with other styles of game play as I have attended multiple camps in the Spain, and the USA. 

In India I have played for a professional club called Sreenidhi Deccan FC (SDEC), for their U15's and U17's and their Second Team, and have played for them for 3 seasons. I have also played another professional club's youth team (U13's) in India called Hyderabad FC (HFC).

I decided that for my junior and senior seasons of high school it would be best to join an academy at the USA. I have given multiple trials in the USA for different clubs, and have decided to join the Barca Residency Academy. I will be playing the next 2 years with them in the USA.

I am really passionate about attending college, and would love to study sports science, as it is related to my passion.
