My goals and aspirations are to become someone who I am happy with. This looks likes a person who is dedicated, confident and someone who wants to always improve, not just in the athletic world but the mental, spiritual and the educational world. In addition, in order to be a positive and dedicated player, you need to first focus on yourself; your emotions, mentality and way you perceive the world. Some of many attributes that I bring to the team is my leadership, on my current team. I was nominated as captain of my soccer team by my coach and teammates recently. Carrying out this role has been going great so far. I try my best to be an excellent role model by showing people how I push myself to my fullest potential and I also communicate with my team on and off the field. Other athletics I do in my free time is skateboarding. I chose to do this because it teaches me to get back up when I fall down plus it has helped me in my dedication, patience and confidence. These are all transferable skills I can walk around with, pulling them out of my pocket at anytime I need, especially on the pitch. My academics are going super well right now. I have a 4.0 GPA. One class I was previously struggling with was Chemistry 11. These past few weeks I have proven to myself that I can get past any challenge in any class that comes against me. Challenges are a great opportunities, whether that be overcoming or failing it, because both of the outcomes shape you to the person you will become and without challenges we would never be able to push ourselves to our highest potential.
