I originally developed as a midfielder, but then made the right back position my own as there was a need on the team. The coach of the U19 2. Bundesliga team SV Sandhausen has praised me as a play maker on the right side. I interpret the position like Trent Alexander-Arnold at Liverpool and I pride myself in creating many scoring chances for my team.
I travel to training and games four times a week 70 minutes each way. This has taught me to be highly organized and to always be on top with my school work. I usually get my work done in school and occasionally on the drive. I assume this has prepared me well for a rigid student athlete schedule. In spite of a tough schedule and the extra demands of being in French immersion, I have always maintained a fairly high grade average.
I am trilingual, as I grew up in British Columbia speaking German at home with my family and also being in the French Immersion program in school since Grade 5. I have spent summers immersed in the German soccer culture and may have the opportunity to play for the SV Sandhausen U19.
One of my soccer highlights was going back for a year in grade 10 to play with my friends on our small town soccer team and qualifying for provincial championships. This was a great opportunity for me to be a leader and really help me develop. We finished 4th at provincials out of 8 teams and I scored 5 out of 8 of our team's goals. It was the first time a Squamish team ever made it to provincial championships.
