Chris Whyte '22 Recruiting Profile

I was born in Vancouver, BC, and have lived there all my life. I started playing soccer at the age of four and quickly fell in love with the sport. At nine, I began playing high-performance soccer, and my goal since then has been to advance to a division one school and prove my skills and understanding of the game.

I am a strong attacking player with a high soccer IQ. I have excellent vision and can see the field, finding open players to pass to. I am confident with the ball and can create goal-scoring opportunities for myself and my teammates. I can use both my right and left feet, but I am stronger with my right.

I have a fantastic attitude and a strong work ethic. I am very focused on achieving my goals, both on and off the field. As a student athlete, I realize that I need to focus on the school side of things as well. That’s why I am not only hard working on the pitch, but I also give it the same effort and more inside the classroom.
