I have been playing soccer for as long as I can remember, and I have always loved everything about the game. My love for soccer will hopefully bring me to play at the collegiate level. Playing in college is an opportunity that would change my whole life and allow me to continue playing competitive soccer, and also better my education.
I have strong ball handling skills, strong and physical defense, I am mentally tough, and high soccer IQ. I am a team leader and I always try to lead by example with my teammates. I am very coachable and I always listen and lock in when training. I always try to work my hardest and do anything to work harder than my teammates and opponents.
I train year-round for soccer playing club soccer at FC Premier and playing school soccer at Saint John Bosco. I also play summer league at school and train often as well during the off-season. I run every morning to work on my endurance and then practice after school and then go home and recover. I play volleyball at school as well as beach volleyball outside of school. I do weightlifting at school and during the summer I do it on my own. All of the other things I do help my athleticism for soccer.
In the classroom, I study very hard to maintain above a 4.0 GPA. I take multiple AP classes and one honors class. I am an ambassador at my school and have gone to other schools to talk about Saint John Bosco. I volunteer at a couple of different places including coaching a middle school volleyball team at the school next door to Bosco called Saint Dominic Savio. I also volunteered at my old school's summer camp being a camp counselor, the school is called Westerly School of Long Beach.
I would like to attend college to not only play competitive soccer but to also push myself academically in the classroom. I am open to all options and I would like to find the right college at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to everyone around me and a leader in college and to make my parents proud.
