My name is Alessandro Tasso. I am a motivated student-athlete at Berkeley High School in Berkeley, California. Throughout my high school education, I have maintained a cumulative weighted grade point average of 4.24, with numerous Advanced Placement (AP) courses in language, humanities, and science. On and off the field, I envision myself as a role model and leader for others on the team.
My goal is to attend a four year college with a elite academic program that provides many opportunities to explore different areas of study, along with a diverse and motivated student body. Equal to my desire of furthering my studies, I also want to play soccer at the collegiate level. Ideally, I want to be part of a strong soccer program where I can further develop my skills and make a meaningful impact on the field in hopes of playing at an even higher level after graduation.
Although I have spent my whole life in huge public schools on the west coast, but I am very open to attending schools in other areas of the country that may vary in the size of the student body.
The most important thing to me is receiving an education that will help me later in life, as well as playing soccer at a collegiate level. I am currently considering majoring in most STEM related fields, such as biochemistry, or computer science. Realistically, I want to continue my love for soccer by playing at the next level possible for me, while still receiving an outstanding education.
