Ruben Gonzalez '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ruben E. Gonzalez from Carlsbad California and will be graduating in “2013”. I am a 5’11" striker, but have played every position “needed”. I have been playing competitive soccer since I was twelve years old. As a freshman and as a sophomore I made my high school Varsity soccer team as well as the Varsity basketball team. Making both Varsity sports as a freshman and as a sophomore was a huge success. Being the second leading scorer on both varsity sports was a lot of fun.  Playing both sports for 4 years will be tough, but I will continue to work hard. In 2010 I made the 1994 ODP pool, I have been asked to play on two academy teams. I love to play and look forward to the new challenges college will bring me. I do not mind where my school is located or how big or how small it is, I would like to be at a Christian school but it’s not necessary. I would like to be at a school where I will contribute early in my career. I also have videos on www.youtube.com under gonzalr3.
