Personal Statement
I'm driven to succeed. In soccer, this means I never miss a practice or an opportunity to play. I seek opportunities to challenge and prove myself on the field. I also value the teamwork it takes to play well against tough competition and the friendships that are developed through those experiences. I put myself in tough situations and relentlessly strive to grow and adapt to them. In academics, my drive to succeed takes the form of choosing difficult and substantive classes aimed at preparing me for college, including honors classes. I am always completing and turning in work that is neat and organized because I believe that my work in school is a reflection of my desire to succeed. I take pride in everything I do. My academic goals are to take a strong college preperatory curriculum and to achieve and maintain a 4.0 grade point average throughout high school. My goals in soccer are to continue to develop my skills, be noticed by coaches, and earn a position on a professional team after I graduate from college.
