Robert Martinez '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Robert Cole Martinez (goes by Cole), part of the class of 2022. My primary position is outside back, and can play on either side, as I really dont have a weak foot, because I can play with both feet at the same level. I also have experience at center back and center defensive midfield as well. My goal is to play in college and also study some sort of engineering or possibly even business management. I currently have a 4.45 weighted academic GPA and a 3.95 unweighted academic GPA, with many AP's and an IB on my transcripts as well. I've played the beautiful game since I was very young and my dream is to continue through college

My personality includes being a dedicated and a hard-worker, willing to take input and have enough responsibility to continue to improve myself as a player in order to play at the higher level in college. I try my hardest to excel in both academics and soccer, as well as pursue a happy and healthy life, making sure I'm eating good foods and getting into the gym at least half of the days of the week. My motivation is my biggest strength and my determination goes hand-in-hand with it. Overall I'm inspired by many people in my life, including my family and friends, and will give my all to continue my academic and athletic journey into college, while also maturing enough to live a life stress-free and happy.
