Talan Rochelle '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Talan Rochelle and I am a rising senior at Granite Bay high school. My dream is to play soccer at the highest level while challenging myself academically at a top university. I have recently transitioned to play for Davis Legacy (ECNL).  I have played for Sacramento Republic FC (MLS NEXT) for the last 5 years and have had the opportunity to develop under a very strong coaching staff. I am a versatile player and can play right wing, right outside back, left wing, and left outside back. My greatest strength is my athleticism (speed, strength, and vertical), along with my 1v1 skills, crossing the ball and vision of the field. I am a leader who aims to elevate and inspire my team. My communication and work ethic on and off the field are some of my best attributes. My goal is to always be the best at whatever I do. To be a well rounded person, I believe it takes more than just being a successful student athlete. Community service has always been important to me and I have had the opportunity to work at many different charities within my community. These experiences have made a huge impact on my life, which have helped me to be a better soccer player and student. I am passionate about soccer and I am excited to play at the collegiate level.
