Benjamin Myhr '18 Recruiting Profile

    Hello, my name is Benjamin Myhr and I am in the class if 2018 at Hamilton High School in Los Angeles, California. I started playing club soccer at the age of eight and I currently play club soccer for Santa Monica United. I also play on my high school's varsity soccer team.

    I have had experience in several Soccer tournaments in Europe, including the MIC Cup in Barcelona in 2012, the Cup Number 1 in Denmark in 2014, and the Gothia Cup in Sweden in 2014. I aspire to one day play college soccer and I am willing to work extremely hard in order to do so.

    My primary position is fullback, but I can also play at center back and holding midfield. I may not be as tall or as strong as some of the players I play against, but I can compete with them using my knowledge of the game and technical ability. 

    I currently have a 4.1 GPA, and I am willing to work hard in the classroom as well as on the pitch. I am familiar with and very interested in the tactical side of the game as well as the physical side. I am a team player and I always prioritize the performance of the team over my individual successes.
