Jason Schwartz '16 Recruiting Profile

My aspiration is to be challenged and grow both on the field (compete, life lessons) and off the field (academics, friendships) enhancing my college experience while preparing me for the future.   My drive for success, dedication (commitment) and incredible work ethic can be contagious!  I have several leadership qualities and experiences (co-captian, volunteering, etc) but pride myself on leading by example.  I am a great listener making me extremely coachable and a steward of the game.  My intelligence combined with the desire to learn has allowed me to better understand the game, strategy and all the positions.  I have the ability to play any position on the field.  Actually, I have played every position (including goalie ... that included a championship shootout!) across both High School and Club teams the last 2 years.  People tell me I am mature for my age, I always put the team first and am a very focused hard worker (not just on the field).  Academics is extremely important to me, 5 time scholar athlete in soccer and baseball.  Being a multi-sport varsity athlete, striving for academic excellence and having a fantstic social life has taught me to be very organized!  It would be a dream come true to be able to utilize my athletics abilities at an excellent academic college.
