My name is Andrew Salcedo. I am going on to my senior year and graduating in 2020. I have played in Varsity Soccer every year that I have attended high school. I am very focused on school and doing the best that I can in soccer and school. My favorite subjects in school history and science. What I would like to major in Kinesiology to be able to do Sports Therapy.
I can play any attacking position but I mainly prefer to play the right wing position. I am comfortable with both feet. I look to assist first then score second. I am fast, strong, and smart when I play. I believe my soccer IQ is high when I play and watch the game. I am aware of my faults and my strengths so that I can use both to my advantage when I play. I like to think of soccer as a physical and mental game. I try to outsmart my opponents so that they can not predict what I am going to do on the field.
I am a leader and a listener, meaning that when the team needs me I can instruct and motivate them to be able to come together. These are both qualities that helps me improve as a person and a player. I improve from learning through criticism and listening to my peers and mentors because I know that they want the team to win so I am open to anything that I can change to win the game. I work hard on and off the pitch during every practice and game. I try to play soccer everyday so I can better myself. I am a focused and a determined person especially when it comes to soccer. I accomplish anything that I set my mind to.
