Grant Archuleta '23 Recruiting Profile

Living in a household with three Division 1 College athletes (Dad and Brother football in the PAC 12 and Sister playing softball in the ACC) has had a significant impact on both my athletic and academic work ethic.  Growing up with my siblings I took mental notes of their preparation, sacrifice and commitment to be able to play High School and Club at the highest levels in Southern California. This work ethic has put me in a prime position to  play at the next level.  I am currently a Junior and have been the starting Varsity goalie for my high school team and have been elected team Captain this year.  I have over 140 starts between my Club team ( Strikers FC) and my High School Varsity Team.  As team Captain I am a leader on and off the field.  I am vocal during games communicating to help direct field players to better position themselves for success as well as to help me defend our goal.  My quickness allows me to save close range shots and cover the goal, post to post both vertically and horizontally.  In the classroom I am a serous student taking college prep, honor and advance placement classes.

Growing up in Southern California I have competed against the best.  While on my current 05 Strikers team (Discovery)  as well as guest play for the 04 Strikers team in the ECNL Nationals in Denver 2021.  This summer I will be playing in the Gothia Cup in Sweden as well as attending camps and showcases.  Having traveled throughout the country to watch my siblings play their sports I am open to academic/athletic opportunities from across the country.  If you will have a need in 2023 for a highly competitive, strong academic, team leader to be your next goal keeper please reach out to me.
