Jake Heider '26 Recruiting Profile

I am a hard-working, highly motivated rising senior looking for a school that will challenge me academically and offer me an opportunity to play soccer at a highly competitive level. I currently play for my high school and for San Diego Surf Soccer Club, where I am the team captain. Last season, my Division 1 high school team won the CIF-San Diego Section D1 Championship, with me defending against tie-breaking penalty kicks. I have been a goalkeeper most of my soccer career, and I am super passionate about it. I'm nimble, am fast on my feet, and have the ability to respond confidently and quickly under pressure. I am looking for a program that represents the best of the best and mirrors my passion for both soccer and learning. Academic excellence coupled with high-performance soccer is what I’m looking for in a school, and I'm super excited about the prospects of playing soccer in college!
