Cody Feldman '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am Cody Feldman, and I am from San Diego, California. I am currently a junior attending Scripps Ranch High School who plays for San Diego Soccer Club. I began playing soccer at 3 years old, and eventually started playing club soccer at 6. Soccer has been my passion for 10 years now, and I have spent countless hours training for the sport I love.  

I'm looking for a program that can help meet both my athletic and academic aspirations. Academics are vitally important to me due to the fact that I hope to have a successful career after college.  My parents instilled the importance of academics from a young age, leading to me currently having a 4.16 GPA, as well as scoring a 1390 on the SAT and a 30 on the ACT. Soccer-wise, I like to run the game, I play as the "quarterback" of the team at center mid. Also, I can play either outside midfield position as well as recently beginning to play striker for my club team. I'm the type of player in which most of my contributions don't show up in the stats, but I instead try to control the game through making the right decisions with my passes and runs. I believe my vision, soccer IQ, and passing ability are my three best attributes, and allow me to be comfortable on the ball in most situations. I want to be a part of a college team that I can contribute to, and help in any way possible. I believe I have the work ethic to become a successful, contributing player on any college team.
