Robert Humphrey '26 Recruiting Profile

Thank you for reading my profile. My name is Robert Humphrey, and I am a Goalkeeper in the class of 2026. I currently live in San Luis Obispo, CA but my family is moving outside of Denver this summer.

As long as I can remember, I have dreamed of being a professional soccer player. I am keenly aware that I am facing long odds to reach my goal and believe me, there has been no shortage of people in my life to remind me of this. However, hearing these things only serves as motivation both on and off the soccer field and this is why I am looking to further my development as a player and as an individual at the next level while earning a college degree. 

My competitive nature and self-motivation have helped me reach this point in my career as evidenced by my #3 goalkeeper ranking in Central California and my 4.28 GPA.  I know that these are characteristics will help me at the next level and that they will help me be an asset to whatever school, soccer program and community that I am lucky enough to land at.  Additionally, if you had the opportunity to speak with everyone that I have had the chance to play with, and to every coach I have played for, I like to think you would hear my biggest strength is my ability to help lead a team, bring everyone together and push everyone around me to be the best version on themselves.
