Drew Byrnes '27 Recruiting Profile

Soccer is my top passion and number one priority in life, and has been for as long as I can remember. I am a hard-working forward and attacking midfielder who is dedicated to the sport and am technically strong on both sides of the ball. For several years now, I have played at the highest level for my age group (MLS NEXT) for multiple teams, which has afforded me exposure to a variety of coaching styles and game strategies.  I have also played for Norcal's PDP program for many years, was identified for their ID2 program in 2022/23, and am now a participant of their U15/16 State Player Pool. I am always training hard to improve my skills in all phases of play on and off the field.  I take feedback well from all of my coaches and teammates and am a very focused, intelligent leader with great vision of the game. Often, I have guest played in games for older age groups at my respective clubs.  My ultimate goal in life is to play professionally.
