Dominic Yu '25 Recruiting Profile

I enjoy playing soccer and I would like to continue playing soccer in college.  I have been playing since I was 6.  I currently play as a forward.  Most often, I play left wing, but I also play right wing and striker.  I have also played left back or CDM.  I just want to contribute to the team and help them win.  This past season Fall 2022, I scored 8 goals and had 6 assists playing on the Marin FC 2006 Red team.  I was nominated to the Norcal PDP program in 2021.  I made the varsity team in my sophomore year, and that year I was the #2 scorer, and helped my team to NCS playoff final.

I am not yet sure about what I would like to study in college.  I have a 3.7 GPA at Marin Academy, which is an academically rigorous private high school.  I chose it because they have strong academics and a great music program (I play guitar), as well as a great soccer team.  I would like to go to a college that is also strong academically.
