Robert Yeo '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Robert Yeo and I am a junior at Dougherty Valley High School in San Ramon, CA set to graduate in 2020. I currently have a overall GPA of 3.67.  However this year I am challenging myself with an Advance Placement Psychology and a Honors Physics class. Playing soccer has been a passion of mine since playing club soccer at 4 years old. I believe I have an ingrained natural instinct on the field. I am currently playing for Ballistic United U17 DA team. With a vertical jump at 29.5 inches, I am a formidable defender when challenged with a high ball. Over the years, I have played and excelled in several positions but my favorite position is to play outside back. I am right leg dominant but I am capable of playing either side of the field. Ultimately, my goal is to be a professional soccer player however, I do believe that a good education is very important. I envisioned my college years to be a period of personal growth both academically and physically. On the field, I plan to be a dynamic player with a positive influence on the team. I will strive to be a team player and will conduct myself with discipline, honor and respect both on and off the field, knowing that the way I carry myself is a reflection of my team, my coaches and the school I attend.
