I have been playing soccer since I was five years old. When I first stepped onto the soccer field, I knew I wanted to be a professional soccer player someday. I played the goalie position in middle school and for the Murrieta Recreation League. For the past two years, I have been playing for the Inland Empire Surf E64 Team and transitioned from playing goalie in the Rec League to right back and center back. I like playing these positions because I feel like I get to use my speed and desire to get the ball out of my end of the field, to help prevent a goal.
As a dual sport athlete in football and soccer, I have come to learn more about myself throughout this year and continue to learn. I have discovered the level of commitment required to excel in two sports while maintaining an impressive 3.72 GPA. This year, I have made both the Varsity Football and Soccert Teams.
While maintaining good grades has always been my priority, I have worked diligently to balance my academic responsibilities and sports commitments. As a freshman, I earned the Outstanding Academics for both football and soccer with a 3.5 GPA & Above award. I was also awarded the Honor Roll with Distinctions certificate my freshman year.
Although I haven't decided on a specific major yet, I am determined to attend a college that supports my athletic journey and provides a productive environment for my overall success.
I am a dedicated and hardworking individual, always giving my all during practices and games, ensuring I consistently deliver 100% effort.
