Personal Statement

My name is Daniel Trautman. I am a 5'5 center midfielder from Thousand Oaks, CA and will graduate in 2012. I play for Eagles SC(Camarillo, CA) & Thousand Oaks HS. For club, I am the captain of my team and lead my team in assists. I will be playing in the Premier Division of Cal South this upcoming year. For high school, I was selected 1st team All-Marmonte League my junior season & 2nd team All-Marmonte League my sophomore season. I was selected for ODP this year to tryout for the team but did not make the roster. Ideally, I would like to go to a school on the west coast since all of my family is here, but I wouldn't mind at all going back east.. I consider myself a low-tier D1 or high-tier D2 player but am still interested in D3 and NAIA schools. I would like to play college soccer along with getting the best possible education to prepare myself for my life after college.
