I am an international student from Poland that has been obsessed with soccer for the past 11 years. Ever since I got to see a soccer game live at the European Championship hosted by my country in 2012 I fell in love with that sport. I have been playing at 4 different clubs over these years, always connecting high level academics with high level soccer. I had the opportunity to play at the highest levels of junior soccer, and for the past 2 years I am also training and playing games with the senior teams of my clubs. For the 22/23 school year I was awarded with the ASSIST scholarship and I spent the past school year attending St. Andrew's School in Delaware as a junior. This amazing expierience helped me to grow in academics, athletics, but most importantly it helped me to grow as a person. Studying in the US has always been my dream, and that year I spent there only reassured me that I should pursue my dream and try my best to achieve that goal. Apart from playing soccer I have always valued high level education - I am now attending the 2nd best high school in Poland. I have always looked out for my grades and I have been awarded with numerous scholarships for academic achievements. Managing to connect that with my sport allowed me to build discipline and tenacity. Obviously soccer is my passion and there is nothing I would love more than being able to play proffesionally but I do realize that this is not the only thing in life. Therefore I want to continue connecting high level soccer with high level academics and I know that getting recruited would allow me to do just that. I am still figuring out what is it exactly that I want to do in life, but there is one thing I know for sure - I want to stay close to the sport I love. My passion is not only limited to playing soccer, despite it being the bigest part of it. I love watching and analyizing games, getting fully engaged with the sport. I had the opportunity to be the manager of the girls varsity soccer team at St. Andrew's, with the duties of assistant coach and video analytic, and this amazing experience allowed me to understand the game better and grow as a player as well. And who knows, maybe one day I wil be able to coach soccer myself. But now that I am back in Poland I have repeated the junior year due to differences in the curriculum here and abroad. I did everything to take advantage of this year, developing as a player and as a student. And now I am facing my senior year at polish hihg school. I know I will do everything in my power to get ready both as an athlete and as a student and get recruited and I can't wait to see what other opportunities and challanges are awaiting for me ahead.
