Personal Statement
Hello, I’m Lance Lenosky,
I’m currently a senior at Braden River High School. I started playing soccer when I was six and it has always been a part of my life ever since. I started playing competitively when I was twelve and have experience playing for club and high school. I have trained under several coaches that have college and MLS experience.
I believe that I can help a soccer program to be successful for the following reasons:
I have developed both my technical and tactical skills through both individual and team training - including using futsal to develop my foot skills during the winter seasons.
I understand the importance of making good decisions with the ball so that the team is given the best opportunity to score or possess the ball. I have been recognized for my strong soccer IQ as it relates to player position and how to be effective with possessing the ball.
I have learned that it is important that a team play together and utilize everyone on the field in order to have the best chance to be successful. In my role as a midfield player, I have demonstrated the ability to move the ball around the field, backwards and forwards, using both sides of the field, in order to move away from defensive pressure.
Academically, being at the top of my class is my goal and I look forward to be the same during college. I am anticipating my college years being a period of personal growth and my goals are to acquire a degree in Computer Science. As I grow physically and mentally throughout my college career, I will strive to be dynamic player and a positive influence on the team immediately. I am a very hard worker and I never give up on my goals. My ultimate goal during college is to earn a college degree and play high level collegiate soccer.
