Chase Scherer '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Chase Scherer and I am a sophomore at IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL.  I have recently moved from Sockers FC to IMG Academy at the MLS next level. My ability to outwork everyone, being the first on the field and the last to leave. After practices and games, I always ask my coaches for more feedback and spend time talking with them about soccer and my performance. I am so grateful to them for spending time with me and helping me to be the best soccer player I can be. Putting 110% into everything whether it’s practice, games, the many hours training alone, or the time in the weight room.  I contribute athletically but I also try to be a leader and unite the team to create a sense of community. I also applied my work ethic in school and I completed my freshman year of high school with a 4.0 GPA. My ultimate goal is to create the most elite version of myself and I am willing to take all measures to get there. I aspire to find that version of me at the highest level possible constantly pushing for more.
