Lucas Sanchez '27 Recruiting Profile

Soccer has been my passion for as long as I can remember, and my goal is to play at the highest level in college. I am a versatile player, competing as a left defender in MLS Next/UPSL and as a left forward in NAL. Playing at IMG Academy has pushed me to grow both on and off the field, training and competing with some of the best athletes in the country.

I pride myself on my work ethic, determination, and ability to adapt to different roles on the field. My speed and endurance help me make an impact on both ends of the game—I run a 5:20 mile, ranking second among all U17 players at IMG. Academically, I challenge myself with a rigorous schedule of AP and honors courses, maintaining a 3.99 weighted GPA (4.07 this semester).

I am always looking for ways to improve and push myself to the next level. I want to play college soccer at the highest level of competition and contribute to a program that values hard work, discipline, and team success.
