Morgan Hudak '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Morgan Hudak, and I am a soccer player from Hong Kong and the United States. I attend school at IMG Academy and play for the U17 MLS Next squad. I am a rising senior and a 2026 graduate. As someone who has played soccer my entire life, it was interesting to adapt to the American style of play. Growing up in Hong Kong and playing teams all over Asia and Europe, it was a new experience moving to the USA and adjusting to the more physical aspect of the game. In Asia and Europe, I would say that coaches and teams focus more on the technical aspects of football, which helped me in the long run to develop my skills at an early age compared to my opponents and teammates. My background in martial arts also helped me improve at an exponential rate and helped me use skills that I learned from martial arts and integreated them into soccer to help me become a better player. I decided to move to the US because it offers both high level academics with high level Soccer at the same time, whereas most countries either prioritize one of the other. My goals and aspirations for the future is to attend a high academic and soccer instituition where I can learn, have fun and meet new people, and If the oppertunity arises try to play professional soccer.
