Ricardo Hernandez '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ricardo Hernandez.  Soccer has given me character, Integrity, Passion, Self-Discipline, Commitment and Dedication on and off the field. I envision my college years to be a personal growth period. My goal is to explore a Business major that will position me well to enter the workforce after graduation. On the field, I plan to be a dynamic player and positive influence on the team. Loyalty, dedication, perseverance and diligence in my everyday life will help me achieve all of my goals on and off the soccer field.  As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my college soccer career, I will strive to be an impact player, a team player, and a leader.  Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the field, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches and the school I attend.

I am going into my 3rd season at Boca United Football Club. I play Center Midfielder or Center Back but have played all positions. This will be my 3rd season playing in the USSDA league. I have also competed in numerous ODP events and have traveled with Region 3 ODP to Arizona and Costa Rica. I am sincerely committed to pursuing an athletic career in college. I am technical, have a high soccer IQ, and read the game very well.
