Maxwell Charles '23 Recruiting Profile

Since I was a little kid, it has always been a goal of mine to play soccer in college or at the professional level. At the age of 12 years old I started playing for a  U.S developmental academy called South Florida Surf. After playing there for 3 years it inspired me made me to push myself to keep playing at a higher level.  When I turned 15 I started playing at ECNL because I wasn't able to make the commitment to  travel to Weston, which was an hour away from where I lived, due to my family commitments and me having to take care of my brothers. Currently, I am playing with FC Florida Prep under the guidance of Tom Durkin. During my time here I have seen and played with professional coaches and players when I went to England to play with Crystal Palace's youth academy.

 I am a crafty midfielder with great vision and ball control. I have aspirations of pursuing a career in sports managment, which would allow me to take my love for sports into a professional industry.
